Olympic Team Decisions – Next Steps

Image of sign at the venue "Welcme to US Olympic and Paralympic Team TrialsThis round of rowing this week is Step 1 of 2 regattas that will decide the fate of aspirant Olympian rowers (note: emphasis in quote below added for clarity),

…”While five boat classes — the women’s single sculls, men’s single sculls, men’s double sculls, lightweight women’s double sculls and lightweight men’s double sculls — will be contested at the at the event, only the winner of the women’s single will punch her ticket to Tokyo. The other four event winners will need to race at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta (FOQR) May 15-17 to earn their spots on the Olympic roster.”

This is why we’re asking for support. Making it to US Rowing Trials this week is one of two major milestones on the path to Tokyo. Lucerne is the next step – FOQRs, and we’re waiting for news on whether that is still on schedule (thank you, Pandemic).

We are working hard to earn our spot on Team USA, and grateful for any and all encouragement / support you can send our way!
